Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs Recipe
A marinade made with honey, soy sauce, pepper, and garlic puts a sweet coating on chicken pieces in this honey chicken shish kabob.
Just average. Used olive oil instead of veg oil. The Hawiian chicken kabob recipe from this site is much better.
I actually can't believe how good these are! Low fat and low calories are a major bonus too! The marinade is so simple and quick.
This recipe is great!
We used this recipe when we had everyone over for the super bowl 2005 and it was a big hit. I made the sauce and put chicken, red pepper, onions and other veggies in 2 gallon size aip locks and let them sit in the frig til 5pm. the food soaked for 8hrs and was absolutley awesome! My husband grilled the kbobs and they were gone as soon as we put them out. People coiuld not get enough of them! I ended up printing this recipe for several friends before they left that evening. Thanks for the big hit and what's even better than that is that this recipe is so EASY!
These were fabulous! We only had time to marinate the chicken for two hours, but that was plenty of time, as they gained plenty of flavor. We also grilled the kabobs on a little skewer rack that kept them from directly touching the grill. It took a little longer to cook this way (just over 15 minutes), but it also kept them from sticking. We used onion, cherry tomatoes, and mushrooms, and these were the best skewers we've ever made on our grill! We'll definitely have them again - the marinade just makes the dish!
Tasty and easy recipe. Definitely needs a longer marinade time. Nothing amazing for 5 stars, but it was a hit at the party.
